Roman theaters needs superior acoustics, Roman Theaters does not feature races or Gladiator events. Instead, these theaters hosted events such as Plays, Pantomimes, Choral events and Orations. The purpose of the semi- circular design of the Roman Theaters is to enhance the natural acoustics.

The auditoriums of the theaters are usually constructed on the hills or in some slopes area.

Cathedral of the Incarnation Locals refer to the Cathedral as “La manquita” or one armed lady- this is how people of Malaga was properly call the Malaga Cathedral.

The said cathedral was constructed in 1528, the designs and style of the Cathedral were inspired by a combination of the Renaissance, neoclassic and Baroque. The cathedral contains most of the architectural styles from the 16^th to the 18^th century. There are many architectural designs which will be observed inside the Cathedral, due to the participation of the other architectures who have helped with the construction of the Cathedral.

The people in Malaga used to call their Cathedral the one- armed Lady because the Cathedral was not finished while it was under construction. The Cathedral is situated in the heart of the city Malaga. The interior of the Cathedral manifest the best of the architectural designs compiled, reserved and placed inside the place. Images of the Virgin Mary hanged in the walls of the Cathedral were the creations made by great artists of the Malaga city.

However, part of the Cathedral is the place where many images of the Saints were displayed extravagantly by famous artists. Probably the most noticeable attraction inside the Malaga Cathedral are the choir stalls. These stalls were built during the 17^th century. Another thing that can be easily noticed by the people are the sculptural artworks of Pedro de Mena.

The people of Malaga have always been proud of their cathedral; they say they have the most marvelous interesting work of arts such as the “Encarnacion” which gives a name to their Cathedral. Also the most important religious paintings and sculptures in Malaga Cathedral such as the La Piedad, by Luis Morales, the El Divino (The Divine) and the portrait of Saint Paul by Jose de Ribera who have emulated the Carravagios chiaroscuro style are some of the most important collection of Cathedral.

Also it has been said that the birth place of famous Artist Pablo Picasso is nearby the Cathedral.

The La Alcazaba is one of the Malaga city’s finest tourist attractions. The La Alcazaba is widely known as the most distinctive building in the city. The building charmed the majestic splendor of the over looking view of the African coast.

The La Alcazaba is one of the fortresses found in the Malaga city. It is the military fortress build by the Moors in the 11^th century in remain of the Roman fortress. La Alcazaba has 3 solid walls protecting the building and it has been built at the top of the hills overlooking the town of Malaga city and the sea down Malaga city.

It has been said that the La Cazaba has the most impressive example of the Moorish architecture because it consist double walling and uses solid materials used for defensive towers. The La Alcazaba was inspired by the Alhambra in Granada. The La Cazaba has distinctive beautiful palaces, gardens and fountains.

According to the ancient history, the La Alcazaba is also a house of Archeological Museum, home of Phoenician and Muslims. The castle was built during the 11^th century and was then a king’s palace. The La Alcazaba as a fortress was build closer to the mountain of Gibralfaro. 

Tourist from all around the world have come to visit the La Cazaba in Malaga not just to see one of the fortresses found in this city but also to experience the magical tour as you enter the La Cazaba building you will bewitch the felling of being in other part of the world.

The Alcazaba is an Arab monument. The constructions of the Alcazaba are made of stone. During the middles ages, the La Cazaba and the mountain of Gibralfaro’s complex were the highlights then. This place is said to be the only Islamic Monument of the Iberian Peninsula. Inside the La casaba are the expensive palatial works of architecture.

The Gibralfaro is overlooking the ancient city of Malaga. At the top of the Gibralfaro is where the journey of knowing Malaga starts. From there, you can see the most famous ancient monuments from centuries ago. Fascinating views of museums like the most noted Museum in the whole world the Picasso Museum. The city Cathedral can also be seen, the bullring of the most famous sport in Malaga, Spain and loads more old buildings.

Most of the tourists say they have been charmed by the looks of the Gibralfaro castle. The castle was built more or less than 14 centuries ago by Yusef of Granada. Yusef contributes the history making the fortresses in Malaga city an Arab heritage and he designed it that way too.

In the 14^th century the castle was made as a Phoenician site and lighthouse, this is where the castle’s name was derived from: Gebe- faro (rock of the light house).

In Gibralfaro castle there where you can find also the Parador Hotel Malaga Gibralfaro. The hotel built at the Gibralfaro to let the tourists/ people enjoy more with the city’s gallant beauty.

It has been told that the (Castillo Gibralfaro) Gibralfaro castle is one of the most preserved remains of the Moorish occupation. The said structure of the Gibralfaro has been modified many times over the years as part of the city’s defense. 

The Cervantes Theater was said to be almost gone when a huge fire almost burned it down, part of the theater was practically destroyed. And as time passed, according to Spanish history the said theater has been abandoned for long time because of the differences by the people here.

Historically, according to a legend “Principe Alfonso” was the first name of the said Cervantes Theater. But on the 19th century the said building was gone by fire and was then called as Teatro de la Libertad.  The said Teatro was fist opened to celebrate the royal visit of Queen Isabella II in the city of Malaga.

In the eighties, the people of Malaga initiate renovations of the theater. And now, the Miguel Cervantes is uploading most of the biggest, famous performances performed by the famous artists all around the globe that presents to the public. The Cervantes Theater is the place of people who appreciate the arts and performances in theater. Because in Teatro Cervantes, they cater the best of the modern concerts, local/ international music performers, theatrical performances, and dance offers to the people in Malaga and tourist.

And now, the Cervantes Theater has drawn up to grace the city of Malaga. Architects from the city of Malaga have been paid to work for the renovations of the theater. It was Jeronimo Cuervo who has been chosen for his initiative of creating significant landmarks in the city of Malaga.

The said Architect of the Cervantes Theater was accompanied by another architect of the city of Malaga. They are Bernardo Ferrandiz, and Muñoz Degrain both are from the city of Malaga.

In 1984, the reconstruction of Cervantes Theater has acquired by the city hall of Malaga. However today, the said Cervantes Theater has already had the capacity of 1171 seats divided into two parts which is the orchestra seats and the stage boxes.
