Malaga Nightlife

In Malaga city the people are used to enjoy the nightlife. Malaga has fantastic night clubs, hubs, Bars and many other forms of entertainment.

In Malaga, everything that can make your trip good and enjoyable can be found in the city. You’ll find everything what can be considered as nightlife, or does have anything to do with nightlife here in Malaga, from traditional gypsy flamenco performances and tapas bars to modern night clubs.

The Andalucian Tapas Bars in Malaga are the centre of their entertainment. Locals and foreigners/ tourists are both enjoying all of the entertainment that Malaga is offering during its nightlife.

Some great Tapas Bars in Malaga city are:

  • Ricon de Mata, where the cheapest Tapa can be found. They offer Jabas con Jamon (broad beans with Ham) Gambas Al Pil Pil (Spicy Fresh Prawns), and Caracoles (snails).
  • Taperia Siglo XXI in the Plaza de la Merced. An old fashioned Tapas Bar. Their specialities include local cheeses and Serrano Ham.
  • Café con Libros in Calle Granada. This place has become popular in Malaga because students used to hang out in Café con Libros for coffee and tea. They used to hang out here with their books with them and sometimes used to play backgammon in café con Libros.
  • Bar Logueño in Calle Maria Garcia- popular with the locals because of the services they have offered. They offer good quality food yet cheap. They have offers different types of Tapas that includes wild mushrooms, and deep fried peppers.
  • Gibralfaro Bar in the Pasaje de Chinitas. Bohemian style bar café with live Flamenco. They may not offer a widely range of different kind of Tapas in this Bar but they are much assure offers the best of environment in Malaga.

However, aside from Bars and other night clubs in Malaga city. They also have the traditional way of entertainment such as the all night Flamenco in Vista Andalucia in Avenida de los Guindos. Live Jazz on Thursday at El Cantor de Jazz in Calle Lazcano. While in the Irish Pub at Calle Luis Del Velasquez Irish music is played by a young and trendy music artist called O’Neill.

Both locals and tourists are enjoying the entertainment which is provided by the Miguel Cervantes Municipal Theater. This theatre can be found behind the Plaza de Merced. In here concerts, musicals and dance shows are performed by famous artists several times a year.

Also, people use to unwind and get some fresh air in places which are romantic as well, tourists used to dine in very relaxing seafood restaurants in Malaga somewhere in the suburbs of El Palo or in Pedegralejo. Here in El Palo where you can witness the sun as it rises to a new day. The Saloma in Calle Luiz de Velazquez and Cosa Nuestra in Calle Las Lazcano are just two of the most popular dance bars.

Bars, night clubs and restaurants are part of the Malaga nightlife which offers satisfaction and perfection throughout the vacation period. People from different countries, nationalities, ethnicities, religions and others got no sets of barriers when it comes to entertaining themselves in Malaga.
